GRIFFITH posted by Janet Bieszczak on Thursday, May 22, 1997

I am researching part of my family from Stokes Township, South Solon, Madison County. The surname that I am interested in is GRIFFITH. Specifically, I am seeking information on Samuel and Mary Griffith, whome my earliest date is 1850. I am also searching for any of their children: Daniel Martin, Jacob, Caroline and Elijah. Elijah is my great great grandfather and he marries Sarah Hart. Elijah and Sarah raise their family in Solon South. Their children are Bertha, Della, Ola, Clarence and Earl.I believe that Samuel GRIFFITH was a township trustee from 1862 to 1872. He was also a farmer. If any one has any information, I would appreciate hearing from them.
