At least 4 sons & 1 daughter(George R., John Wesley, Sue Mable). Sons probably born in New Castle. More info available. I have them in the 1900 census at 93 Jefferson, Springfield as: Charles Frank Fittz, b.12/1855 in OH to parents born in OH, Elizabeth ACKERSON FITTZ, b 3/1860 in OH (her father was born in NJ, her mother in OH), Zetta E. FITTZ, b.10/3/1883 in Springfield and David F. FITTZ, b. 11/1886 in OH. Would appreciate any info on either name....

- Researching James W. BALL, confirmed born in West Jefferson, Madison County, Ohio between 1856-1866. Son of Alfred BALL of Perry County, OH and Mary J. Leman BALL. Alfred and Mary probably lived in Madison County from 1864-1866 before moving to Indiana. Any information greatly appreciated, and contact by other BALL family researchers for Ohio and Indiana welcomed!

- BATES, CANDLER: Looking to share info with relatives. Ansel(m); Temperance (COLEMAN) BATES lived in Madison Co. OH from about 1818 to at least 1850. Many of their 6+ children were married in Madison Co. John & Phebe (BOAZ) CANDLER also lived in Madison Co. around 1830 and some of their children married there also. Ansel & Temperance BATES later moved to Champaign Co. OH while John & Phebe CANDLER later moved to Hardin Co. OH.

- I am looking for two separate families. George Albert CLARK (born in Madison County in West Jefferson in Sept 1865) but when he attended Hillsdale College in Michigan in 1880 he listed home as Springfield, Ohio. He married Mary Franc ELLIS and they had three children Dorothy Clark SPENSER, Mills Gardner CLARK, and Lucille Clark Grey DUNBAR. The only thing I know about his parents is that they were both born in Ireland. George was a college professor. The other family is Charles and Hattie STOTLER, they moved to Missouri in the 1890's. They were both born in Ohio in 1862 and Charles' parents were also born in Ohio. In the 1900 Missouri census there were also two other STOTLER families from Ohio. Charles was a farmer.

- I am interested in John GRIFFITH who live in Madison County in the 1840's. He was born in Bedford County, PA in 1800. He married a Priscilla NORRIS around 1823. He moved on to Kosciusko Co. I am also looking for information about Benjamin NORRIS who married Letitia GRIFFITH. I think that he may be related to Priscilla and a link that may lead me to Priscilla's parents. Many thanks

- I am trying to identify the parents of Catherine DUNN who married Stephen PAYNE on 12 April, 1845 in Madison Co., Ohio. My information is that Catherine was born in Hampshire County, W.VA, probably about 1820 because Stephen was born in 1816. She was reported to have died in 1865 in Fulton County, IL
