These are the descendants of Jonathan Grim of Ross County, Henry Fattlar, Born January 15, 1856 in Muskingum County, Ohio.
Parents were JOHN FATTLAR and CAROLINE SMITH. Married DELLA GRIM on March 6, 1890 in Madison County, Ohio.
The Jones Family
The Jones lineage in the United States that this page chronicles starts with Solomon Jones then his son Samuel Jones in the 18th Century and then continues through his son Elias Jones, his son George Washington Irving (GWI) Jones
Allison Grim
These are the descendants of Jonathan Grim of Ross County, Allison Grim, Born July 30, 1843 in Huntington Township, Ross County Ohio.
Parents were JOHN GRIM and BARBARA GRUB. Married MARY MARGARET FOSTER on December 12, 1867. Mary was born September 6, 1845 in Madison County, Ohio; and died in 1897.
The Melvin family
Family of Assemblyman James MELVIN, Sr. of Bucks Co., PA and his sons, James Jr., John, Joseph, Thomas and Samuel. James was elected from 1756 through 1766 to the Provincial Assembly from Bucks Co., PA, where he sat in 1756 with Benjamin Franklin. He died in December 1778 in Bucks Co, PA and his son Samuel inherited the lands and was the executor of James' will. Some family members then moved on to Tennessee and Ohio, raising large families along the way.
